Governance Council
Welcome to the NDLC Governance Council
The Governance Council serves as the governing body of New Directions Learning Community (NDLC), providing oversight, strategic direction, and stewardship of our charter school's mission. Working collaboratively with school leadership, the Governance Council helps ensure that NDLC remains focused on building compassionate, empathetic, independent leaders who impact the world.
As a public charter school, NDLC welcomes families from across the area through an annual student lottery process. The lottery for incoming students is typically held each spring, providing all interested families an equal opportunity to enroll.
Transparency and community involvement are important to us. Governance Council meetings are open to the public, and community members are encouraged to attend and learn more about the work being done to support our students and school community. Meetings are offered both in person and virtually to provide accessible participation options.
We invite you to explore this page for meeting agendas, minutes, membership information, and updates regarding Governance Council activities.
